6 | John Giscome baptism records (Latter Day Saints Film#1291709 Bap) indicates that he was baptized on 11 Aug 1822. He was reported to be a slave to FriendshipHall estate. When he died his records indicated that he was a Tailor by Trade at Hope Bay. His tomb stone is made of marble (broken up) but showes where it was erected by his loving son the famous John R. Giscome (Gold Miner in British Columbia, Canada. This grave was rediscovered by Cecil Giscombe on a trip to Jamaica. The grave is just 10 to 15 feet from the side of the Church on the side facing the sea and main road. | Giscombe, John (I52)
